Sitharaman Spotlights Indian Engineers Driving ITER's Global Fusion Ambitions

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman lauded the Indian diaspora in Marseille for strengthening India's global standing and bilateral ties with France during a visit to the ITER fusion project.

She commended professionals from Larsen & Toubro, Tata Consultancy Services and other Indian firms for their two-decade contributions to the landmark clean-energy collaboration.

The ITER project, an international nuclear fusion research and engineering megaproject, aims to replicate the energy processes of the sun to produce clean energy.
