More than 100 Naperville teenagers are celebrating their Indian heritage by playing kho-kho, an ancient tag-like sport from South Asia. The community is invited to cheer on the teams July 18 from noon to 4 p.m. at the TOCA Soccer Center.

The event is hosted by the HSS Chicago Kho-Kho Premier League. Kho-kho, which originated in South Asia, involves two teams of nine players taking turns chasing and tagging opponents.

The Naperville Park District is also seeking public input on its upcoming capital projects. Residents can share their priorities for parks, trails, and facilities through an online survey or at community meetings scheduled throughout July.

The district plans to use the feedback to shape its five-year capital improvement plan, which will be presented to the board later this year. The kho-kho event offers a separate opportunity for residents to engage with local cultural activities.
