United States | July 2026 Visa Bulletin: Most employment-based categories advance, with exceptions for India’s Final Action Dates

The U.S. Department of State released the July 2026 Visa Bulletin, which shows forward movement in most employment-based preference categories. However, Final Action Dates for India in several categories did not advance.

For India, the EB-1 category remains unchanged at January 1, 2022, while EB-2 and EB-3 Final Action Dates are stuck at January 1, 2012, and January 1, 2010, respectively. Other countries saw progress in these categories.

The EB-5 category for all countries, including India, advanced to July 1, 2016. The bulletin also notes that the Department of State expects continued high demand in certain categories, which may limit future movement.

Applicants with priority dates earlier than the listed Final Action Dates may proceed with visa processing. The bulletin is effective for filings starting July 1, 2026.
