Bihar Student Secures Rs 3 Crore Lincoln Scholarship for US Studies

The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, meals, travel, books, and health insurance for the entire four-year program, a total value of approximately Rs 3 crore.

Kaushik, who completed her schooling at a local school in Siwan, applied to several US universities but chose Centre College for its strong liberal arts curriculum and supportive community.

The Lincoln Scholarship is awarded annually to a select group of international students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, leadership potential, and a commitment to community service.

Kaushik plans to major in economics and hopes to use her education to address rural development challenges in Bihar upon her return to India.

She is expected to begin her studies at Centre College in August, joining a cohort of scholars from around the world.
