IIM Bangalore to Open First Overseas Campus in Indonesia, Modi Announces

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore will open its first overseas campus in Indonesia. The campus will be established through a memorandum of understanding with PT Intelegensia Grahatama (PT IGT).

The project will be launched in two phases. The announcement was made during an official event, though specific dates for the phases were not disclosed.

This marks the first international expansion for IIM Bangalore, one of India's premier business schools. The move is expected to strengthen educational ties between India and Indonesia.
