Bhopal Police Probe ₹1.87 Crore Property Fraud Against NRI Doctor

Bhopal police have launched an investigation into a property fraud case worth ₹1.87 crore against a non-resident Indian (NRI) doctor. The case was registered at the Ashoka Garden police station following a complaint by the doctor, who resides abroad.

The doctor alleged that unidentified individuals forged documents and illegally transferred ownership of his property in Bhopal. The fraud came to light when the doctor attempted to sell the property and discovered the title had been changed without his knowledge.

Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including cheating and forgery. Investigators are examining bank records and property documents to trace the accused.

Authorities have not yet made any arrests in the case. The investigation is ongoing, with police focusing on identifying the individuals involved in the fraudulent transaction.
