McCarthy Names Dhruv Patel President & COO to Align National Operations

Patel, who previously served as McCarthy's chief strategy officer, will now be responsible for aligning the company's regional offices and business units to improve efficiency and collaboration across projects. His appointment reflects the firm's focus on integrating its operations nationwide.

McCarthy, founded in 1864, is one of the oldest and largest 100% employee-owned construction companies in the United States. The company has a workforce of over 6,000 employees and operates in 14 states.

Patel's promotion comes as McCarthy continues to expand its portfolio in sectors such as healthcare, education, and transportation. The company has been involved in major projects including the renovation of the Los Angeles International Airport and the construction of the Texas Medical Center.

In his previous role, Patel led the company's strategic planning and innovation efforts. He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
