His tenure at McCarthy includes leading the Renewable Energy group, where he helped expand the portfolio from $20 million to over $2 billion, establishing the company as a major solar and battery storage contractor. Patel has also held various executive roles across the project lifecycle, from preconstruction to operations.
CEO Ray Sedey praised Patel's strategic leadership and operational discipline, noting his understanding of the business from the ground up. Patel expressed enthusiasm for the role, citing the industry's transformation and the company's innovation.
Patel holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and an MBA from Arizona State University. He has been recognized as a national 2026 Engineering-News Record Top 20 Under 40 winner and served as a Leadership Circle Member in the Energy Storage Association.
