Indian-Origin Uday Ruddaraju Appointed as OpenAI Compute CTO

Uday Ruddarraju, a former xAI engineer, has been named Chief Technology Officer of Compute at OpenAI. In this role, he will direct the company's global data center expansion, manage large-scale GPU clusters, and oversee semiconductor hardware development to support next-generation frontier AI models.
