Vohra, who joined Epicor in 2021 as Chief Product Officer, has served as President and Chief Product and Technology Officer since October 2024. The board initiated a planned succession process when he was named President, according to the company.

Murphy will step down at the close of Epicor's fiscal year on Sept. 30 and remain on the board. Under his leadership, Epicor surpassed $1 billion in annual recurring revenue and accelerated its shift to a cloud-first business model.

Vohra previously held product leadership roles at Gecko Robotics and SAP. He holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.

Board Chair Jeff Hawn said Vohra's experience in enterprise software makes him the right choice to lead Epicor's next phase. Vohra said he aims to keep the company focused on customer growth in a dynamic market.
