The Carnegie Corporation of New York has named four Indian Americans to its 2026 Great Immigrants list, honoring their achievements in business, medicine, science, and academia.
The honorees are Nikesh Arora, chief executive of Palo Alto Networks; Mahzarin Banaji, a psychologist; Sanjiv Chopra, a physician; and a representative from Vertex Pharmaceuticals.
Arora leads the cybersecurity firm Palo Alto Networks. Banaji is known for her research on implicit bias. Chopra is a prominent medical educator and author.
The annual list celebrates immigrants who have made notable contributions to American society. The 2026 cohort includes individuals from diverse fields and backgrounds.
