Joyalukkas opens 8th US showroom in Iselin, NJ, with ribbon cutting ceremony.

The ceremony took place at the store located on Oak Tree Road, a hub for South Asian businesses. Mayor John E. McCormac cut the ribbon alongside John Paul Alukkas and Sonia Alukkas, marking the company's eighth location in the United States.

The new showroom spans 7,000 square feet and features a range of gold, diamond, and platinum jewelry, including bridal collections and everyday wear. Customers can also access customization services and a dedicated repair counter.

Joyalukkas, headquartered in Kerala, India, has been expanding its international presence. The Iselin store is part of a broader strategy to cater to the Indian diaspora in the tristate area, which has a significant South Asian population.

The company operates over 160 showrooms across 11 countries, with its US locations concentrated in Texas, Illinois, and now New Jersey. The Iselin opening follows the launch of a store in Houston earlier this year.

Local officials welcomed the new business, noting its potential to boost the local economy and provide jobs. The store is expected to employ about 15 staff members, with plans to host community events and cultural programs.
