Indian Community Hosts 2026 World Cup Finals Watch Party

The Indian American Cultural Association of New Jersey announced a watch party for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, scheduled for July 19 at the Edison Community Center. Organizers expect more than 500 attendees, with doors opening at 1 p.m. Eastern Time.

The event will feature a large projection screen, food stalls offering Indian cuisine, and cultural performances during halftime. Volunteers from local Indian organizations will manage the setup and cleanup.

Association president Rajesh Patel said the goal is to bring together families and soccer fans from the tri-state area. The group has secured permits for the venue and plans to stream the match via a licensed broadcaster.

Tickets are free but require online registration due to capacity limits. The association is also coordinating with local police for traffic and crowd management near the center.
