MIT Provost Anantha Chandrakasan wins Test of Time Award

MIT Provost Anantha Chandrakasan has been awarded the Test of Time Award, recognizing his influential contributions to the field of integrated circuit design.

The award honors Chandrakasan for his pioneering work on low-power digital CMOS circuits, which has had a lasting impact on the semiconductor industry.

Chandrakasan, who also serves as the Vannevar Bush Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, has been a faculty member at MIT since 1994.

The Test of Time Award is given by the Association for Computing Machinery's Special Interest Group on Design Automation to papers that have had significant influence over at least a decade.
