Naboborsho Celebration 2026 Announced

The Naboborsho Celebration 2026 has been announced for April 14, 2026, in New York City. The event will take place at the Queens Theater in Flushing, starting at 11 a.m. and running until 6 p.m.

Organizers expect over 2,000 attendees to participate in the daylong festivities, which include cultural performances, traditional Bengali music and dance, and a food fair featuring regional cuisine.

The celebration is open to all and free of charge. Attendees are encouraged to wear traditional Bengali attire. The event is organized by the Bengali Cultural Society of New York, a nonprofit that has hosted the annual celebration for more than a decade.

Volunteers are still being sought for setup, registration, and cleanup. Those interested can sign up through the society's website. The deadline for volunteer applications is March 15, 2026.
