Onam celebration date announced.

The Malayali Association of Greater Houston announced that this year's Onam celebration will take place on August 26 at the India House in Houston. The event will feature traditional dances, music, and a feast.

Organizers expect over 500 attendees from across Texas. The celebration will include a procession, floral decorations, and a cultural program highlighting Kerala's heritage.

Tickets for the event are available online and at local Indian grocery stores. Proceeds will support community initiatives and scholarships for students of Indian origin.

The association has been hosting Onam celebrations for over a decade, drawing families from the diaspora to mark the harvest festival.
