Anand Bazaar to Celebrate India’s Independence Day

Anand Bazaar, a local Indian grocery and cultural center, will host a celebration for India’s Independence Day on August 15. The event is open to the public and will begin at 10 a.m.

The celebration will feature traditional Indian music and dance performances. Attendees can also enjoy a variety of Indian cuisine available for purchase.

Organizers said the event aims to bring the community together to honor India’s independence. Children’s activities and a flag-hoisting ceremony are also planned.

The event is free to attend. Anand Bazaar is located at 123 Main Street in the city’s downtown area.
