Colorful temple pillars in India, with people walking in the distance, celebrating community.

Twenty survey responses from the April 11 Tamil New Year & Easter Celebration show strong satisfaction with the overall experience, performance quality, and event organization, according to feedback compiled by organizers.

Respondents highlighted the welcoming atmosphere, timely coordination, and community engagement as standout aspects of the event, which marked the Tamil New Year alongside Easter.

The feedback also pointed to areas for refinement, including food service and program pacing, with suggestions that addressing these could enhance future celebrations.

The event was organized by Tamils of Northern California (TNC), a group that began informally in the San Francisco Bay Area in the early 1980s, incorporated as a nonprofit in 1994, and received federal nonprofit status from the IRS in 1996.
