Dr. Arabinda Pani has assumed the role of Chief Medical Officer at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood, where he will oversee clinical quality and hospital administration across the Lake Houston region. The hospital, part of HCA Houston Healthcare, serves a population that has grown rapidly in recent years.
Pani brings more than 20 years of medical and leadership experience to the position. He previously served as Chief Medical Officer at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake, where he worked on initiatives to improve patient safety and care coordination.
A graduate of Harvard Medical School, Pani completed his residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine and has held various clinical and administrative roles throughout his career.
In his new role, Pani will work with physicians and staff to advance clinical programs and ensure high standards of care. He will also focus on integrating services across the hospital and its affiliated clinics to meet the needs of the expanding community.
