CBI Arranges Removal of Two INTERPOL Red Notice Individuals from UAE and Saudi Arabia

The Central Bureau of Investigation coordinated with authorities in both Gulf states to secure the removals, which took place on the same day. The individuals, whose identities have not been disclosed, were the subject of INTERPOL Red Notices issued at India's request.

One fugitive was handed over by Saudi Arabia, while the other was deported from the UAE. Both are wanted in connection with separate criminal cases registered in India, according to the CBI.

The CBI said the deportations were the result of sustained efforts under its international cooperation framework. Red Notices are international requests to locate and provisionally arrest a person pending extradition, and they are circulated by INTERPOL to its member countries.
