AAPI Night sign for India Association of Greater Boston at Gillette Stadium

The India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) set up a Henna/Mehendi booth that drew more than 75 attendees during the pre-game Fan Zone hours on May 2, 2026. The booth remained active throughout the evening, offering traditional mehendi artistry to fans at the stadium.

A Bollywood group dance, choreographed by Chhavi Mishra, was a major highlight of the night. The performance blended Bhangra, Garba, and Bollywood storytelling, and was performed by Mishra, Poornima Natkarni, Nilam Adhikari, Sowmya Sampige, Bhavna Dedhia, Aparna Karpe, Priya Vedantham, Smita Kumar, Adhi Ramesh, and Mohini Tripathi.

IAGB President Nilesh Agrawal and Vice President Deepak Garg received on-field recognition during the pre-game ceremony, representing the Indian American community. IAGB also thanked Juliane Mahoney, Multicultural Engagement Senior Specialist for the New England Revolution, for her partnership in organizing the event.

The evening combined cultural displays with the soccer match, drawing thousands of fans to celebrate AAPI heritage at Gillette Stadium.
