Navatara's Indian Food Festival Ottawa 2026: culture, food, and celebration

The festival, organized by Navatara Inc., will take over Clarke Fields Park with more than 150 authentic dishes from various Indian regions. Organizers have expanded the kids' zone and added a marketplace for local vendors.

Live entertainment will run throughout the three days, featuring 35 cultural performances and nightly DJ sets. The lineup is designed to appeal to both Indian diaspora families and newcomers to the cuisine.

The event is free to attend, a move organizers say lowers barriers for families seeking cultural connection in Canada. Street foods that are not commonly available in local restaurants will be a focus, along with shopping stalls.

Navatara Inc., the organizing body, aims to celebrate Indian heritage in North America. The festival is part of a broader slate of cultural events across the region this summer.
