UAE Beats US, Bangladesh to Become India's 2nd-Largest Source of International Students

The United Arab Emirates has become India's second-largest source of international students, accounting for 7% of total foreign enrollments in Indian higher education, according to the latest All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) report.

Nepal leads the list, contributing 24.1% of all international students in India. The UAE's rise pushes the United States and Bangladesh to lower positions.

The data reflects shifting trends in global student mobility, with the UAE emerging as a significant feeder country for Indian institutions.
