Poet Jayanti celebration set for May 9 in Acton

The event, themed 'An Ode to the Poets,' will celebrate the legacy of Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam, Sukanta Bhattacharya, and other literary figures whose works have influenced generations.

Organizers describe it as a tribute to the words, music, and philosophies of these stalwarts, offering the Bengali community in the diaspora a chance to reconnect with their cultural roots.

Admission is free for Prabasi members. Non-members can attend for a fee: $75 per family (two adults and two children), $35 per adult, $20 per visiting parent (for both members and non-members), and $15 per child above five years.
