The 2026 London Indian Film Festival will open with Aamir Khan in conversation at BFI Southbank, where the actor will discuss his career and the 25th anniversary of Lagaan. The festival runs 9–16 July across multiple venues.

In a separate headline event, the original cast of the BBC comedy Goodness Gracious Me will reunite onstage for the first time in years. The panel will explore the show's legacy and its impact on British Asian comedy.

The programme also includes a range of features, shorts, and documentaries that highlight British Asian and South Asian voices in the UK, with filmmakers and actors expected to attend screenings and Q&As.

Tickets for the festival go on sale in June, with early-bird passes available for members. Full lineup details will be announced closer to the event.
