Ohio Doctor Jailed for Bathroom Voyeurism

Deshmukh entered his guilty plea in May 2026. The sentence was handed down by a judge in an Ohio court, who also ordered Deshmukh to serve a period of probation following his release from jail.

The case came to light after hospital security discovered hidden cameras in the restrooms. An investigation linked the devices to Deshmukh, who was a resident at the facility at the time. He was subsequently removed from his position and faced criminal charges.

In addition to the jail time, Deshmukh will be required to register as a sex offender, according to court records. His attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The hospital issued a statement saying it had cooperated fully with law enforcement and had taken steps to ensure the safety and privacy of its staff.
