3 Indian American Tech Executives Join NVTC Board of Directors

Kavita Kalatur, Manish Malhotra, and Anil Sharma were elected to the Northern Virginia Technology Council's board of directors, the council announced. Their three-year terms begin immediately, with the Class of 2029 serving through 2029.

Kalatur is the chief information officer at a leading cloud-based software company, where she oversees global IT strategy. Malhotra serves as senior vice president of engineering at a cybersecurity firm, and Sharma is the founder and CEO of a data analytics startup based in Reston.

The trio joins a 40-member board that guides NVTC's programs, policy advocacy, and networking events for more than 500 member companies across the region. Their appointments reflect the council's focus on bringing diverse technology leadership to the table.

NVTC president and CEO Jennifer Taylor said the new members bring deep expertise in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics, which will help shape the council's initiatives in workforce development and innovation.

The Class of 2029 will be formally introduced at NVTC's annual meeting in March, where the board will set its priorities for the coming year.
