Indian man loses life in Detroit after two-wheeler struck by vehicle; cerebral fat embolism reported

The accident occurred near Ann Arbor, Michigan, when a car hit the two-wheeler Gannu was riding. He was rushed to a hospital, where doctors reported a cerebral fat embolism, a condition in which fat particles block blood vessels in the brain. He was declared dead on the same day.

Gannu, a native of Nirmal district in Telangana, had been living in the United States. His family in India was informed of his death, and arrangements are being made to repatriate his remains.
