7-Year-Old Daughter of Migrant Laborers Raped and Murdered in UP Mall Basement; Two Detained

A 7-year-old girl, the daughter of migrant laborers, was raped and murdered in the basement of a mall in Uttar Pradesh. Two individuals have been detained in connection with the crime.

The victim lived with her parents in a temporary shelter at the construction site where they worked. She went missing on the evening of July 10, 2026.

Her body was discovered in the mall's basement around 1:00 AM on July 11. Police have launched an investigation and are questioning the detained suspects.
