Clooney, 63, has starred in films such as "Ocean's Eleven," "Syriana," and "The Descendants." He has also directed and produced several movies, including "Good Night, and Good Luck" and "The Ides of March."

The Venice Film Festival, one of the oldest and most prestigious film festivals in the world, will present the award during its 83rd edition in 2026. The festival runs annually on the Lido island in Venice, Italy.

Clooney's award adds to his list of honors, which includes two Academy Awards and three Golden Globes. The festival did not specify the exact date of the ceremony.
